Janell Van Cleve, MSEd
Janell C. Van Cleve has been employed in the human services field for close to twenty years. She has extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health, juvenile justice and the family court system, care coordination and in-home interventions as well as integration of various systems of care. A culmination of these experiences has resulted in the evolution of her current involvement working with the developmentally disabled and other at-risk populations. She currently holds two positions under the auspices of University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, as Director of Diversionary Services and Clinical Director of the APIC Program. Both positions focus on accessing appropriate levels of care and avoidable system penetration. Her career has increasingly become more administrative in nature requiring flexibility, program development, and public speaking. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Education in addition to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services. Janell is passionate about her family, her friends, and career. She loves to help people and aspires to make opportunities more accessible to everyone.
